Chandigarh, 3rd April 2017. What happens when two super hit actors turn into producers and come together with the best of the writing, directing and distribution talents of the industry? Well, of course the best! Ammy Virk and Binnu Dhillon announced a three-film collaboration under their banners The Villager Studios and Naughty Men Productions, respectively, which were launched in Chandigarh.

Ammy Virk and Binnu Dhillon, riding high on the success of Bambukat at the recently held Jio Filmfare Awards Punjabi will join hands as producers with the award- winning Director Pankaj Batra and writer Jass Grewal. The film is starring Ammy and Binnu in the titular roles is slated to go on the floor in 2017.

Another film to be produced by the duo will have Binnu Dhillon in the lead role and is written by Jass Grewal. The movie will be directed by Ksshitij Chaudhary of Mr and Mrs 420 fame. The shooting of the film will begin in April.
Also, bringing together director Smeep Kang of Carry on Jatta fame and writer Naresh Kathuria, the film starring both the actors will go on the floor in July.

Ammy Virk, the man at the helm of The Villager Studios, said, “It is always exciting to venture into a new arena. We have a team of the best with us. How can you expect anything less than the best? I am looking forward to the projects we will bring to the audience.”

Binnu Dhillon, who launched Naughty Men Productions and announced the three-film deal, said, “I had been waiting to enter into production for some time now. I am really excited about this association. With these wonderful directors and writers, the movies are going to be nothing short of super hits.”

Owner of Omjee Group, Munish Sahni, was also present at the event and told, “Omjee Group will distribute all the three films worldwide. We are delighted to have joined hands with Binnu Dhillon and Ammy Virk and these talented writers and directors.”

Ammy Virk and Binnu Dhillon’s alliance as producers will surely increase the entertainment quotient and will be a treat for the audience.

Manpreet Johal and Vehli Janta Films along with the directors Harry Bahtti and Tarnvir Singh Jagpal tendered an apology to lyricist Vijay Vivek whose lyrics were used in the film ‘Rabb Da Radio’ which released on 31^st March. The film used the famous lyricist’s words ‘Moti Sitare Phul We’ in one of the songs.

‘Moti Sitare Phul We’, one of the famous creations of the famous Punjabi lyricist Vijay Vivek was used in the film. However, his name was not carried in the credit rolls due to some technical glitch. This had irked his friends and fans. The producer and directors of the film extended an apology to the poet in a personal meeting and assured to include his name here after.

Manpreet Johal, the producer of Rabb Da Radio, said, “We offer our sincere apology to Mr. Vijay Vivek, his friends, fans and readers. We will add his name as lyricist on Youtube and where ever possible and associate his name with the movie.”

Harry Bahtti, the director of the film said, “Vijay Vivek is a treasure of Punjabi literature. We will take special care to avoid any such technical errors in the future.”

Vijay Vivek, who graciously accepted the apology, said, “I am grateful that my prized work has been used in a project as special as Rabb Da Radio. I hope that the producers and directors of the film will not forget to acknowledge a creator’s contribution to their movie henceforth.”

Film ‘Rabb Da Radio’, starring Tarsem Jassar, Simi Chahal and Mandy Takhar in the leading roles, is marching ahead on the box office within the first week of its release on 31^st March.

After being Global, the Punjabi Industry is proceeding with films which carry different Zone and of course with good experience too. Under this same series, we will see “Aakri Waris” in this year only. The announcement of the movie was done here in a hotel. Producer Preetpal Shergill, Co-Producer Gagandeep Bhullar, Sanjeev Mittal and Simerjit Singh Sandhu, with the Director Teji Sandhu, Hero Dilpreet Dhillon, senior actor Guggu Gill, Hobby Dhaliwal, Nirmal Rishi, BN Sharma, Nirmal Rishi, Mahreen Kaleka, Sufi Gulati, Shiwani Saini, Creative Director Balbir Atwal, were present on this occasion. Under the banner of Wild Rose Films in association with Shudh Gold, the shooting of “Aakhri Waris”, will be shot in different villages of border area of Ferozpur and some part will be shot in Foreign Country as well.

On this occasion, Producer Preetpal Shergill said, that after producing movies like Jee Aayea Nu, Assan nu maan watna te and Yaaran Naal Bahara, is all set to enter the Punjabi Industry again. As per him, this film will also be full of entertainment and with a different concept ofcourse. This is movie will be directed by renowned artist, Teji Sandhu, who has written the story also for this film. Director Teji Sandhu further added that this film will give an important message to the Punjabi Culture. This film will talk about the different relationships and its presence too.  This film will show the responsibility of parents towards their children and vice a versa. We will see Sarabjeet Cheema also in an important character. Besides him we will see Harby Sangha, Minto, Sanjeev Attri, Sukhjinder Shera, Preetpal Shergill and Ramneet Sandhu and Teji Sandhu also.

Lead Actor, Dilpreet Dhillon said this is his second movie, and the title of the film will depict his own character. He is going to play the character of a boy, who will leave Canada and come back to Punjab to get a justice to her mother. Lead Actress, Sufi Gulati said that after her movie, “Munde Kamaal De”, the audience will see her doing an action in the film. We will witness, Mahreen Kaleka again in a strong role in this film, and is paired with Sarabjeet Cheema.

Punjabi Cinema’s evergreen and senior artist Guggu Gill will be seen playing a character of a landlord, who is full of Principles and is the guard of Punjabi Culture. After the most talked about character, in a movie as “Nikka Zaildar”, we will once again see Nirmal Rishi in a strong role.  While interacting with the media, senior actor, Hobby Dhaliwal, said that he is playing a very different character in this film. In spite of  a negative character in the film, he will showcase people who ready to sacrifice their life for the lands they have. His commanding and authoritative character will be seen giving lot of respect to the women. According to the team, this film is full Punjabi Culture and traditions. The shooting of the film will get started from 20^th of April, 2017.

It’s a ride of laughter we must say , from the start till end its all about joy and happiness.. the concept is nice and watchable. Gippy wrote it very well and rest of the things beautifully done by Baljit Singh deo .. no doubt he has a great command on camera and lighting stuff.
The story is all about a marriage sequence. Gippy grewal ( sukhi) is arranging everything for her cousin’s wedding. Here he met a girl and fall in love with her..in that marriage we see lots of characters that we usually see in a typical Punjabi village marriage and with their act and dialogues you will laugh till die.. the story is short and nice .. it’s better to watch in person rather than read it in here..

Performance:- Everyone in the film was quite good.. but Karamjeet anmol was the best among them , has has played his best performance till the date . He amazed everyone with his talent. Gippy grewal was good as usual so as sonam Bajwa and also five stars for rest of the star cast too…

Technically:- as we all know the shoot of the film had been wrapped up in just 22 days so there are some minor technical issues. Some scenes you feel are tried to match the lighting but can be identified..but overall it’s been well made by deo and his team.. making a film in that time of period is amazing so hats of to him.

Music:- Music of the film is wonderful..all the songs are so nice and beautiful made. Especially ammy Virk’s song . Overall the music is too good according to the story. Background music was quite good too and match the every situation that occurred in the story.Good Job By Salil Amrute..

At the end we would like to say it’s a great film to watch this weekend.. it’s completely a family entertainer so go and watch with your family guys…

Real World Entertainment is ready to release their maiden Punjabi film “Arjan” on 5^th of May, 2017 which stars renowned singer & actor Roshan Prince, Prachi Tehlan, a national level basketballer, Hobby Dhaliwal, Shivender Mahal, Niraml Rishi, Baninderjit Singh, BN Sharma, Rupinder Kaur, Deep Mandeep Kaur, Jarnail Singh, Jaswinder Makrauna, Nihal Purba, Deepali Arora, Karanveer Kaur.
