Starcast of the movie “Thug Life” today visited the city Of Chandigarh. Produced under the banner of Teg Production House the movie is the directorial debut of famous artist and writer Mukesh Vohra. A family drama, the film is all set for a release on July 21.

The movie revolves around the lives of three boys and a girl who want to make quick money and hence resort to conning the rich. With their larger than life schemes all the four go on a wild roller-coaster ride deep into the world of tricking people and do succeed in making quick money. All is hunky dory till the four land themselves up into trouble. They are labeled terrorists and are thrown behind the bars.

Famous actor and comedian Rajeev Thakur plays the lead role in the film and by mimicking Punjab’s politicians he has tried to bring to fore the different shades of politics. Rajeev Thakur has fans not only in India but abroad too where he has earned accolades for his work. Thakur has also made his mark on the comedy scene by working in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

Describing the film, Rajeev said: “There are very interesting characters, extremely fresh dialogues, con jobs which I have not seen in any other film, but yet very easy to understand. It’s not complicated at all. It’s a very fun film.”

Rajeev has teamed up with Jas Bajwa and Harish Verma in the film that also stars comedian Vrajesh Hirjee and Ihana Dhillon.  This is Jas’ first Punjab movie. Jas describes his stint with Director Mukesh Vohra an unforgettable one. ‘I was made to give almost 15 retakes everytime so that the shot is a perfect one’, he says.

This also happens to be the first Punjabi movie of Vrajesh Hirjee, his work in Bollywood is appreciated by all.  Ihana Dhillon plays the role of Ruchi who is struggling to become a movie super star and Harish Verma plays a MLA in the film who leads the youngsters onto the right path. The star cast also includes Karamjit Anmol, Hardeep Gill, Hobby Dhaliwal, Rana Jang Bahadur, Harinder Bhuller, Dheeraj and Deep.

Resham Anmol, belongs to a Village called Natakpur, Ambala. His first album, “The Beginning with YoYo Honey”, was released in the year 2009, which was also labelled by T-Series. Has done music with Honey Singh and Raftar. Resham has learnt music from Dev Tharike Wale and Kuldeep Manak. Govt. of Haryana has awarded him as a best singer in the year 2011 and has been a Gold Medalist for continuous three years while he was studying in the Kurukshetra University. The male lead character Binnu Dhillon said “The film is on two different families one from Punjab and the other from Haryana. Jatt family is from Punjab and the Jaat family is from Haryana. He further added that the film is based on few religious and traditional ethics. The main character the bus conductor falls in love with a frequent female traveller Sarla who is from Haryana. And when both of them decides to get married, something drastic happens.
Sarla’s father is a firm believer in religious beliefs, ethics and traditions. He puts one condition on Jaggi that he will have to show his Janam Patri in order to get married to Sarla. And he will be able to get married once both the janam patris of a boy and his daughter will match up. The Pundit after seein the janam patri tells Jaggi that he is Maanglik and he will have to get married to a female dog before he actua;;y gets married to Sarla. And if they get married without doing this Sarla might die or suffers from an illness. And if Jaggi gets married to a female dog his Manglik issue will be resolved. And Jaggi gets married to a female dog after that also there is a new twist in his life due to which the audience will enjoy very hilarious scenes.
Jaggi’s character is being played by a renowned comedian Binnu Dhillon and Kavita Kaushik has played the role of Sarla. The other artists and actors include Jaswinder Bhalla, Karamjit Anmol, Gobind Namdev, Mukesh Bhatt, Mithila Purohit have also played main charcters. The story is written and directed by Amardeep Singh Gill and is a presented by Bathinde Wale Bai in association with Ohri Productions, a venture of It’s A Renea’ Entertainment. The team of the film was present in the city to release the music of the film.

‘Jora 10 Numbaria’ stars legendary actor Dharmendra and Deep Sidhu in the lead. Other star cast includes Sardar Sohi, Hobby Dhaliwal, Mukul Dev, Ashish Duggal, Mukesh Tiwari, Mahabir Bhuller, Yaad Grewal, Kul Sidhu and Neetu Pandher. The film will highlight politics, power, police and Punjab, along with growing crime in the state and which depicts reality. The story revolves around a man who turns into gangster and then into a politician, during this face of his life he makes numerous rivals.

Music of the film is given by Sunny Bawra, Inder Bawra and Sachin Ahuja. There will be total five songs in the film; the title song has been sung by Gippy Grewal and other songs are sung by Ninja, Labh Heera, Shazia Manzoor, Sardar Ali and Hasan Ali. Deep Sidhu, Mukul Dev, Amardeep Singh Gill, Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Ashish Duggal, Kul Sidhu and Vivek Ohri were present on the occasion and talked about the music of the film.

Talking about the music of the film actor Deep Sidhu said, “Music of the film has different composition and a factor that will attract audiences. Some songs of the film are thrilling and exciting that makes them different from others. The title song of the film is amazingly sung by Gippy Grewal and will be loved by the audiences.”

You call it a biography, you call it a drama, call it an action movie or simply call it a question to the audience. Punjabi film ‘Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster..?..The movie left a mark on the Punjabi Film Industry for being a hit blockbuster of Year 2015 and created a history in the industry. The biopic on Sarpanch Rupinder Gandhi was made under the banner of Dreamreality Movies. The team gathered the truths and good aspects of Rupinder Gandhi and tried to show it to the audience and their effort to leave the decision on the spectators whether he should be called a Gangster or not, was, to some extent proved to be on the positive side of Sarpanch Rupinder Gandhi that the Producers thought of making a sequel, “Rupinder Gandhi 2 The Robinhood” which will definitely force the audience to believe it that he shoudn’t have been called a Gangster.

The team again started working on the concept and plot of the film but this time they were very sure that this movie will be made with hard core facts of his life, and Dev Kharoud will only play the lead role as he had lived that character for a long time and he had done justice to the character.

The movie is completed and was ready to release on the 25^th of August, 2017 but the Producers are continuously getting one or the other true aspect and truth of Rupinder’s life and they found few aspects to be so heart touching that they never wanted to leave those aspects untouched and they decided to change the date from 25^th August, 2017 to 8^th Sepetember, 2017 in order to bring out the complete true story of Sarpanch Rupinder Gandhi, so that the audience should know that he was not supposed to be called a Gangster but a Robinhood.

The Producers Ravneet Chahal, Daljit Singh Bola and Rajesh Arora said that they are very keen to show the exact life of Rupinder Gandhi and doesn’t want to leave any aspect untouched and took this decision of changing the release date.
