Mohali, 28th September 2023 (Punjabi Teshan) Recently, the Punjabi film “Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chhalaangaan Maardi” is released in theatres. We just saw this movie at screening, and we’ll be reviewing it based on several things. From the moment the movie was announced, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding it.
Firstly, we will talk about story, Naresh Kathooria, a well-known film writer in the pollywood and bollywood industries, wrote the story for this movie. The dowry system, how it affects our society and people’s lives, and why it ought to be abolished, is the subject of the novel. It is based on a family where the father desires dowry for his son’s wedding but the boy develops feelings for a girl and requests dowry. They received Nano car as dowry but had to keep it a secret from everyone else and what happened next.
Moreover, Happy, who was portrayed by Ammy Virk, is an MBA graduate who has a crush on Jasmin Bajwa’s character named as Pooja. He does not want to accept dowry, but in order to appease his father (Jaswinder Bhalla), he demands Pooja, his lover for dowry. Ammy Virk (Happy)’s older brother was played by Binnu Dhillon, while Binnu Dhillon’s wife was played by Maahi Sharma. Everyone did a great job on their tasks. Ammy Virk should be commended for his work on this film. Nobody could have done it better than he could.
Smeep Kang, who is renowned in Punjabi cinema as the king of comedy filmmaking, once again outdid himself and dazzled the audience with this astounding depiction of this comedic tale. All of the movie’s scenes will be enjoyable to watch because they were expertly filmed.
In addition to this, music plays an important part in every film, and “Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chhalaangaan Maard” is a winner in this contest due of its fantastic soundtrack and widespread popularity with viewers. Ammy Virk and Jasmine Akhtar were instrumental in this movie’s soundtrack.
